NGC7635 - the Bubble Nebula, is a HII emission nebula, about 11,000 light-years away in the constellation of Cassiopia.
The Bubble has formed as the result of fierce stellar winds travelling outwards at 1,800-2,500 km/s from the hot young massive O-type star (SAO 20575). The star has a mass of 10-20 × that of the Sun, with a surface temperature of 37,500° and it is about 2 million years old. The nebula, on the other hand is a mere 40,000 years old.
In the first image you can also see the open cluster M52 ('Cassiopia Salt-and-Pepper' cluster) and NGC7538 the 'Northern Lagoon Nebula'. The third image, also includes the 'Lobster Claw' nebula, s HII region (SH 2-157) to the right of the Bubble nebula.
