LDN1613 - the Cone Nebula, is a dark nebula about 2,700 light-years away in the constellation of Monoceros. Situated in a HII region, the narrow end of the cone is also the 'top' of the Christmas Tree Cluster and both share the New General Catalogue designation NGC2264.
In the Christmas Tree cluster, the base of the trunk is the bright star 15 Mon and the top of the tree is the Mag. 7.15 star, with the HII region forming a rough tree shape. In the image above, the bright region above & to the right of 15 Mon is a reflection nebula called the Fox Fur Nebula.
